Welcome to SoberPride 2008
Gay AA in Stockholm, Sweden invites you to an open, International AA Convention on the first weekend of August. SoberPride coincides with, but is not affiliated with, EuroPride. Our gay AA fellowship is putting on this event to provide a fun convention for our international sobriety friends coming to EuroPride. Meetings will be in English.

Thursday: Kick-Off Speaker Meeting followed by Welcome Social!
Friday & Saturday: Main speakers and workshops all day, morning & midnight meetings.
Sunday: Meditation workshop, spirituality speaker meeting.
Fellowship
Join us for many fun outings with our sober fellowship, including dancing to traditional Swedish disco-pop music (“schlager”), watching the EuroPride Parade, and a trip to the gay beach of the Stockholm archipelago (skärdgård)! All are welcome to join us (though costs for excursions are not included in the convention registration).

SoberPride 2008 coincides with – but is not affiliated with – EuroPride. EuroPride is the annual Gay Pride celebration that rotates each year to a different country in Europe. This summer, 2008, Sweden will be hosting EuroPride in its beautiful capital city of Stockholm, land of the midnight sun. For more information on EuroPride, go to www.stockholmpride.se.
